LACEY

Well, we have had our delightful little girl Lacey for a while now and she is well and truly settled into the family!

Thought you might like to see some photos - have little comments under each one...

Thanks again for our darling little princess - she is more than we ever imagined and we love her to bits!!

She has us so well trained now that we get vehement meows if she is not cuddled and given constant pats - and is sometimes like a real baby and won't let you do anything unless she is being held and cuddled as you try and do your daily chores with her in your arms!!

The sweetest moment I've had so far (and lets face it, there's several every day!!) was one night I was cuddling Lacey, she was nuzzled in my arm and looking up at me adoringly and put her little soft paw up to my face and gently stroked my cheek and then meowed oh so cutely and (as she often does) softly meowed with her eyes closed as she went to sleep....So cute!  Had a tear in my eye and it certainly consolidated just how smitten I am with her.

Enjoy the photos!

Lacey loves her cat pole (it goes all the way to the ceiling so she gets a nice view from up high!)

This is her big brother "Boots" who has taken over the mothering role quite nicely!!  His tail is also a great source of amusement for Lacey!!

Lacey likes to play dollies with our daughter and is quite happy to go for pram rides (and as you'll see later, has regular snoozes in the dolly pram and cot too!)

She is still an absolute delight and has well and truly taken over the house as the princess of our family!

Lacey is very very vocal and has a range of meows depending on her needs and her mood - there's the feed me meow of course, but we also get the 'pick me up and cuddle me' meow, and the 'what about me?!' meow!!!

She is well and truly attached to our older cat Bootsy - have video footage of her giving him a 'back massage' and she is cuddling up to him at every opportunity!  They also play really well together and go scooting through the house at a hundred miles an hour (they have a 'route' that goes down the hall, where they 'ambush' each other and sneak up - hilarious to watch as they get up with an arched back and walk sideways towards each other - then scamper up the cat pole together, over the couches and start the round all over again!)

Lacey is very tolerant too - the kids dress her up, walk her in the dolly pram and she often sleeps in the doll pram.

Her favourite sleeping spot though is in someones arms - such a smoocher!

The photos don't do her justice - she is so beautiful and soft and fluffy, and she has many different 'faces' depending on her moods - all of them cute!

Anyway, hope you like the photos and thanks again for our lovely baby girl!

COCO

Its been a couple of weeks now since we took Coco (Sapphire) home, she has settled in fantastic and is best of friends with our dog Buddy. Coco is a very affectionate and loves to be cuddled and when she is not snuggling up to me and purring like a motor boat she is zooming from one end of the room to the other playing with anything insight - it gives us hours of entertainment. Recently we have spent alot of our time in the backyard as we have been doing alot of gardening lately, It took a couple of days for her to work up enough courage to come outside with us but now she meows at the door if we go outside without her. When outside her and buddy will chase each other until they tire each other out and they collaspe and fall asleep with each other. I have attached some photos of her for you to have a look at and will send some more when she gets a little bit bigger. She is strictly supervised when we allow her outside with us.

Asleep with her blankie.
